Justin Moreno
Justin Moreno Spooner was born under the sign of Sagittarius in 1981 in Newmarket, UK; a year marked by the wedding of Charles and Diana and the passing of the legendary Robert Marley. He took his first steps on the beach in Salou, a small seaside paradise in Catalonia, Spain. Later, his adolescence unfolded in Cambridge, England, where he stood out as a talented artist among his British peers.

Approaching his 18th birthday
a wanderlust and lover of languages, he studied Art History in France and then returned to Barcelona, embracing his Hispanic roots. There, painting and drawing became intimately intertwined with his life, influenced by the colours of the sea, the warm and vibrant summer nights, and the cosmopolitan and lively spirit of the city.
In 2007, driven by curiosity,
he arrived in Mexico and was captivated by the beauty of Guadalajara, Jalisco, and the eclectic warmth of its people. He spent years under the Aztec sun, where he felt loved and valued, and his art flourished, allowing him to make a living from his paintings in galleries and custom commissions.
Entering his thirties, he embarked on a spiritual journey, distancing himself from the materialistic world around him. In Mexico, he experienced a rebirth: he discovered that true beauty and happiness lie in small moments, in the song of birds, in the silent procession of clouds, in the murmur of the hummingbirds that visited him, far from social gatherings and the pressures of consumerism. At 33, he decided to travel through Latin America by bicycle, seeking to learn about the history, culture, and lives of its people, a continent rich in soul and colour. He did so with courage and a desire to share his art at every encounter, letting his heart and his brush paint his path through the world.
